Our Mission
To create Sarracenia-sourced medicines by merging plant conservation and sustainability with medicine-making practices.
Our Vision
To improve the lives of patients worldwide with the cellularly supportive Sarracenia medicinal products.
Founder
Meet Dr. Brandie Gowey
Dr. Brandie Gowey, NMD, is a clinician-researcher whose work began in clinical practice and developed into molecular investigation. Over years of observation, recurring biological patterns led her to study extracts derived from Sarracenia species and their relationship to cellular regulation.
She founded Sarravis to document, characterize, and advance this work through formal research and collaboration.
How the Research Began
Repeated clinical observations suggested a shared biological process rather than isolated conditions. This prompted focused investigation into plant-derived compounds and their interaction with cellular systems.
Over time, formulation work evolved into a research effort centered on understanding underlying molecular activity and identifying mechanisms that may support future study.
Areas of Investigation
Current research focuses on biological pathways relevant to cellular regulation, including:
- RNA interference pathways
- Oxidative stress response
- DNA repair mechanisms
- Viral–host cellular interactions
- Thiol and redox chemistry
Current Development Stage
Sarravis is an early-stage research initiative. The compounds described on this site are investigational and are not approved for medical use.
Current work focuses on characterization, documentation, and preparation for collaborative and translational research.
Collaboration
Sarravis welcomes collaboration with academic researchers, laboratories, and strategic partners interested in mechanistic study and future development of plant-derived molecular compounds.
