Our Mission
To create Sarracenia-sourced medicines by merging plant conservation and sustainability with medicine-making practices.
Our Vision
To improve the lives of patients worldwide with the cellularly supportive Sarracenia medicinal products.
Founder
Meet Dr. Brandie Gowey
Dr. Brandie Gowey, NMD, is a clinician-researcher whose work began in clinical practice in 2007 and later expanded into molecular research. Over nearly two decades of patient case analysis and genomic study, she has concluded that cellular-supportive constituents are an important component of patient medicines in achieving optimal health outcomes. She currently practices medicine at the nonprofit clinic Naturopaths International in Flagstaff, Arizona.
How the Research Began
Surprising clinical observations involving a compounded Sarracenia-derived remedy used in cases of cervical dysplasia (including chronic LSIL) prompted nearly two decades of investigation into how plant extracts may influence cellular and patient outcomes.
Further study combined careful patient observation with genomic and proteomic assays, ultimately leading to the development of the Sarravis formulations.
Areas of Investigation
Current research focuses on cellular pathways relevant to cellular regulation, including:
- RNA interference pathways
- Oxidative stress response
- DNA repair mechanisms
- Viral–host cellular interactions
- Thiol and redox chemistry
- p53 signaling pathways
Current Development Stage
Sarravis© is an early-stage research initiative. The compounds described on this site are investigational and are not approved for medical use.
Current work focuses on characterization, documentation, and preparation for collaborative and translational research.
Collaboration
All Sarravis© formulations are currently availabe for licensure or other research interests.
